KONE buys Ennis Lifts in Ireland

KONE has acquired Ennis Lifts Ltd, an Irish company specializing in the supply, installation, modernization and maintenance of elevators, escalators and autowalks. Ennis operates in the Republic of Ireland and is the largest national elevator and escalator company in the country.

"We are very pleased to have Ennis as a part of KONE. The acquisition will strengthen our business in the challenging Irish market," says Ari Lehtoranta, KONE Executive Vice President and Area Director for Central and North Europe.

Ennis will continue to operate as a separate company under its current name and brand.
